** ON THE STREET ** Campground Concession Prospectus Laurentian Ranger District Superior National Forest Bids are being solicited for the operation of three campgrounds on the Laurentian Ranger District of the Superior National Forest. Bid category options consist of: Whiteface Reservoir, Cadotte Lake & Pfeiffer Lake Campgrounds or Whiteface Reservoir & Cadotte Lake Campgrounds; Pfeiffer Lake Campground. The successful bidder wil be responsible for operating and maintaining each campground and recreation area in accordance with the terms of a special use permit. ** CLOSED ** Campground Concession Prospectus Tahoe National Forest The Tahoe National Forest is pleased to announce the availability of a prospectus issued to solicit applications for a concession special-use permit. One special use permit will be issued to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned campgrounds and other developed recreation facilities on the American River, Yuba River, and Truckee Ranger Districts. The prospectus includes facilities located at five separate recreation complexes located within the three ranger districts. The special use permit will be issued for a term of five-years, with the Forest Service having the option to extend the permit for an additional five-year term. Applications must be received by close of business (4:30 PM) on January 22, 2010. Submit applications to: Tahoe National Forest Supervisor’s Office, 631 Coyote Street, Nevada City, CA 95959. Attention: Kevin McCombe. A selection will be made in February, 2010, so that a special use permit is issued and the concession operator is in place for the 2010 camping season.
